Interview – Nocturnal Confessions“ is a film drama by Dutch director Theo van Gogh from the year 2003. The penultimate film work van Gogh was remade in 2007 under the direction of Steve Buscemi entitled „Interview„.

The character of the war correspondent Pierre Peters and the resignation of the cabinet, which Peters missed as a reporter in the play, point to one of the biggest political traumas of the Netherlands. During the massacre of Srebrenica in 1995, Dutch UN soldiers were forced to stand idly by the mass murder of 8,000 Muslims. An investigative report accused the political and military leadership in 2002 that the Dutch army had „inadvertently supported ethnic cleansing“. Subsequently, the Dutch government resigned closed.

Ray Rupert has created a stage version of „Das Interview„, which was premiered on 17 February 2006 in the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt am Main.
